Pike Glide PGSB Slow Sinking

After a decade of testing and dozens of catches over a meter long, the Pike Glide PGSB remains a tribute to traditional lure building. This glide bait is crafted for anglers who move away from automated plastic and choose the nobility of wood, worked with the care and patience of yesteryear. The PGSB (Silver Black) variant adds extra realism through the use of aluminum foil, perfectly mimicking the silvery flash of baitfish flanks to trigger strikes from even the most selective pike.

The engineering behind the Pike Glide PGSB:

• Cherry Wood Foundation: We chose cherry wood for its optimal density, providing a unique inertia in its action. As a hardwood, it forms the perfect foundation; unlike soft materials, cherry does not give way under the pressure of violent strikes.

• Multi-Layer Protection System: The wood is first waterproofed with successive layers of CAP (cellulose-based solution), a rare technique that seals the pores. The epoxy resin topcoat creates an extremely hard armor capable of withstanding the sharpest pike teeth.

• Silent S-Glide Action: The PGSB performs a fluid and natural medium “S” motion. As a silent jerkbait (no rattle), it doesn’t spook educated or sluggish predators, making it a lethal weapon in cold water or high-pressure areas.

• Decisive Slow Sinking Rate: The sinking rate is tuned to keep the lure in the subsurface zone. During pauses, the lure descends naturally, triggering strikes even in winter when pike need a subtle stimulus to move.
